Author Richard Price Discusses LES Gentrification
April 21st, 2008 at 10:15 am

Richard Price, whose eighth novel Lush Life (FSG) came out last month, discusses the decade-long shift in the cultural landscape of Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

You can also watch a recent conversation between Richard Price and Charlie Rose.

Of course, gentrification isn’t confined to Manhattan. Recently, New York Voices chronicled another neighborhood in transition: Brooklyn’s Red Hook. Visit the site to read an interview with New York Magazine’s Real Estate Editor, Chris Bonanos, about which New York City block will be in-demand next.

Plus, have you ever wondered what kind of apartment you can get in the city for $675 a month? How about $15 million? Watch this video about two very different residences.
