Americans Go Online to Get Election Coverage

A new report from the Pew Internet and American Life Project “Politics Goes Viral Online” finds that a record-breaking 46% of Americans have used the Internet, e-mail or cellphone text messaging to get news about the campaigns. Analysts examine how new Web-based tools are expanding the campaign trail on NewsHour.
