JEAN PUBLIC Says:

IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE HAS A REVEREND SPOUTING WHAT WRIGHT DOES.

Why should Obama be held responsible for what someone else says? He did not make these statements, the Rev. did and if he continues to flip flop and try to please certain groups he will create his own downfall.

Seems to me that I am still hearing more upset about Wright and his remarks than I ever heard about Jerry Falwell and his remarks about NYC being to blame for 9/11. I don’t remember anyone’s feet being held to the fire for remarks that Pat Robertson made which were a call for the assassination of another nation’s leader. If they were, somehow I missed the smell of the cooking flesh. This is stage-managed offense and not a lot more.

I strongly agree with comment #3; it’s painful to see the damage done to Senator Obama with so little foundation, and the opportunistic campaign to blame him for the malicious conduct of Rev. Wright, which Mr. Obama could not control. We should give him more credit for the way he has spoken and acted in the face of these despicable attacks.
